Autograph letter signed by a prisoner in Sachsenhausen concentration camp, stamped with the date24 October 1943. The writer inscribes to verso his date of birth as "8.6.08", followed by "#63654 Bloc1a Hei. / Near Berlin". He writes to Natalia Oszczygie in Warsaw, in German as required by the camp's rules. Text translates, "Dearest Nadecko! I am letting you know that I've received your letter joyfully and thankfully. It contained so much very valuable news for me after such a long time. Write to me when Jozio is married. I am sending the couple my best as well as his daughter. I send my best wishes to you my dearest as well as Dyrio. May you, grandmother and grandfather be happy!Thankfully I have received the parcel. In it there was marmalade, sugar, dough...bread and apples. I also received a similar package from my mother for which I thank her very much. My dear write to me how well my mother is in her age...I thank you all and kiss you as well as all others...and friends. [signed illegibly]".
