Scarce book 'SS Dachau', a very early postwar publication and one of the first to reveal the horrors of the concentration camp system. The book, issued by the 7th U.S. Army with a foreword by Col. William W. Quinn. is undated, 68pp. 4to., and describes the history and operation of the camp, its administration, experiments, executions, liberation, case reports, etc., and includes a detailed prisoner's diary. Some soiling and a few stains within, a note on the title page indicating that this copy was found in a shelled building in Eissen, Mar. 2, 1946. Lightly worn, else very good.
