Images show: the stone wall surrounding the camp, watchtowers, headquarters building, barbed wire fences, courtyard where prisoners were lined up daily, barrack number 13 where hundreds of Czechs were brutally beaten and starved in the Winter of 1941-42, crematorium and ovens, disturbing views of the prisoners who were clearly malnourished, SS officers, corpses of prisoners who were murdered in countless inhuman ways, large post-liberation cemetery for the dead, Heinrich Himmler and Ernst Kaltenbrunner inspecting the camp, entrances to underground passages where the SS officers planned to ‘liquidate’ the camp, and much more. The book itself bears some light spotting to the covers, else very good.
