Description
KURT DALUEGE (1897 - 1946) Chief of Security Police in SD central office, appointed SS-Oberstgruppenfuhrer (1942), succeeded Heydrich as Deputy Protector of Bohemia and Moravia. Hanged by the Czechs in 1946. Offered here is his ‘Card of capture for prisoners of war’ dated May 23, 1945, bearing his name, place of birth, next of kin, date of capture, date of arrival, date of transfer, physical description, distinguishing marks, etc. At the bottom is the annotation CCPWE #32, an abbreviation for the Central Continental Prisoner of War Enclosure #32 of the infamous Allied prisoner-of-war camp in the Palace Hotel of Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg, code named ‘Camp Ashcan’. Signed by Daluege at the bottom right. In fine condition. WITH: a photocopy of his ‘Detention Report’ bearing his mugshot and a photocopy of his ‘Prisoner of War Preliminary Record’ detailing his personal and physical information with his fingerprints.
