About the artist: He was born on February 22 (15), 1914 in Yuzovka (now Donetsk). Graduated: “Kiev Art Institute” (1931-1940). Teachers by specialty - F. Krichevsky, K. Trohimenko, I. Padalka, I. Shtilman, M. Boychuk, A. Taran. Painter and sculptor, best known as a graphic artist. He worked in the industry of poster, easel and monumental painting. Member of World War II. He has military and state awards. Participated in exhibitions: republican (since 1945), "All-Union Art Exhibition". Moscow (1949). Major works: “Tank attack in the village of Lysyanka” (1947), “Korsun-Shevchenkovsky encirclement” (1947-1948), “On Vacation” (1948), “Reunion of the Ukrainian people in a single Ukrainian Soviet State” (1949), Having put experience and science into the matter, we will give the Dnieper a fraternal hand! ” (1951), “At the direct wire” (1950-1952), “Parkhomenko” (1958), “Ukrainian delegation at the XXI Congress of the CPSU” (1960), “TG Shevchenko in Moscow” (1961), “Go to the rink "(1963)," Memory "(1983)," The Roads of War "(1984)," With the Victory Home "(1985). The works are stored in the Art Fund of Ukraine, the National Historical Museum, the Lviv Art Museum. He died on March 27, 1988 in Kiev.
