A nice Victorian, shouldered tall vase displaying two song birds cavorting in bush or tree branches, hand painted in multiple colors covered by a clear glaze, gold rim and foot detail, size: 14 1/2 in. tall x 8 in. wide x 4 in. depth, two impressed marks on bottom under glaze, both marks partially obscured by glaze residue, one looks like the number "17", the other other is "S De??s" (may be S Denas or Depas?).

Very good antique condition, some crazing lines in clear glaze, some roughness and discoloration on top of rim, glaze debris on foot. Lovely presentation.
