Pair of Federal Urn-top Andirons, Shovel, and Tongs, with Later Folding Screen, America and Europe, early 19th century. The bell metal andirons and tools with cast and engraved double urns below an acorn finial, the andirons mounted to tapering column support with conforming log stops on wrought iron billet bars, the front raised on spurred cabriole legs on platformed snake feet, together with one 20th/21st-century tripartite wire mesh screen with decorative brass top, (andiron) wd. 10 1/2, dp. 19, 22 1/2 ht.
