Ship moored in the shore at Whitby:
The work appears to be on card and has been glued to the gold mount recto which has been hinged to the card mount with tape verso. The bottom edge of the work has detached slightly from the mount and some glue remnants are visible. However this is not visible when framed.

Overall, the work appears to be slightly down in colour.

There are some small spots of paint loss to the upper left mount edges.

There are signs of light acidification to the sheet with spots of foxing scattered throughout.

Figures hauling in:
The work appears to be on card which has been glued to the gold mount along each edge recto. This has then been taped to the card mount along the top and bottom edge verso.

Overall, the works appears down in colour.

There are signs of acidification to the sheet with patches of brown staining scattered throughout.
