Hajime Sorayama is a contemporary Japanese artist recognized for his erotic illustrations executed in a precisely detailed manner. He trained at the Chuo Art School in Tokyo before entering the commercial advertising field and later becoming a freelance illustrator. He has published several books, including "Sexy Robot," 1983, "Pin-up," 1984, "Master Works, 2010," and "Vibrant Vixens," 2013; his work has also been featured in "Penthouse" magazine and on "Playboy TV," among numerous other forms of media. In addition, the artist's design for the Sony AIBO robot received the Japanese Grand Prize of Best Design award and is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C.
