A late 19th century Swiss cylinder music box. Rosewood case with Satinwood inlaid detail and Ebonized trim, inlaid top depicts a serpent and bird perched in a peach tree. Includes a 15" cylinder with six etched bells and Bee form strikers and two drums, plays eight tunes listed on the original lithographed music sheet at inner lid. Refinished case with some wear, damage to four teeth, working when cataloged, may need servicing. 26 1/2 x 13 1/2 x 10" high overall. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000
