The present work is being offered from the collection of Richard and Elaine Lieberman who collected passionately as a couple for over four decades. They were born and raised in New York City, where they lived through the Great Depression and World War II. Californians by choice, the Lieberman's still considered themselves New Yorkers at heart. Seeing the rise of culture, commerce and power firsthand in 'the city that never sleeps,' they were inspired to collect works that reflected the American urban experience and multiculturalism.

Condition
The canvasboard is flat and in stable condition. The paint surface is in good, clean condition. There are frame abrasions visible along the extreme edges. Upon inspection under ultraviolet light, there are no visibly apparent signs of inpainting or other forms of restoration.
