The canvas is unlined and retains its original stretchers. The paint surface is in good, clean condition. There are very minor frame abrasions visible along the extreme edges. There is a superficial abrasion at lower left measuring approximately 1/4 x 1/2 in. revealing the underground. Upon inspection under ultraviolet light, while the lavender pigments fluoresce, these appear original to the artist. There are no visibly apparent signs of inpainting or other forms of restoration.
