The weather, the corn, turnips, cattle, or sheep, If hay will go off-if the brewing will keep, Alone with such quidnuncs go down ; For them the word politics nothing supplies, Yet their gossip nine cants in ten is as wise, As that of the quidnuncs in townâ€™ with stamp for â€˜London Stereoscopic Companyâ€™ Condition: image good. Note: These 1850's views are of the village of Hinton Waldrist in Oxfordshire and are considered to be Williams's masterpiece. They were the subject of the book 'A Village Lost and Found', by Brian May & Elena Vidal, published 2009.
