Williams Stereocard, Scenes in Our Village, No. 4a, label to reverse reads 'My Summer Haunt, "So sweet a spot of Earth, you might I ween, Have guessed some congregation of Elves,To sport by summer moons had shaped it for themselves.", stamped 'The London Stereoscope Company' Condition: slight foxing to card image good. Note: These 1850's views are of the village of Hinton Waldrist in Oxfordshire and are considered to be Williams's masterpiece. They were the subject of the book 'A Village Lost and Found', by Brian May & Elena Vidal, published 2009.
