Condition
lot 138: In overall fine and stable condition. Retains a fairly even patina and color with craquelure visible to the varnish throughout. Areas of rubbing and flaking to the painted surface. Scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Few minor age cracks throughout. There are old, small chip losses to the sides of the case where the nails from the drawer runners have pierced through the board. Each drawer showing some old loss to the molded edge, ranging in length from 2.5” to 0.5”. The scroll tip is lacking from the proper right rear foot facing. The proper front, right foot facings are cracked and reglued. Some drawers showing repairs to the drawers slides.
