The cornice with pierced and carved foliate motifs, centering a giltwood phoenix cartouche, flanked by applied giltwood foliate motifs, the mirror sides with applied giltwood leaves.

lot 14: repaired breaks to both upper ears, the right-facing ear with some veneer loss; some mends / repaired breaks to pediment, the right-facing applied giltwood foliate element slightly loose; the cartouche with repaired break, and with small chip at beak; glass is replaced
