William F. Cody received the Medal Of Honor in 1872 for gallantry above and beyond the call of duty. Cody won the exclusive right to the "Buffalo Bill" name after winning a shooting contest with Bill Comstock, another well known buffalo hunter. He later founded "Buffalo Bills Wild West" in North Platte Nebraska. The COA was issued by Authentic Autographs Unlimited. Condition: Very Good. Dimensions: 22 3/4"h X 22 1/2"w.
