Impressionist depiction of a flock of sheep grazing on barn hay surrounded by chickens. Clair studied at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts and exhibited at the Salon and was made a member in 1913.
Oil on board,Board 12 1/2" x 16".Frame 19" x 22 1/2"
Signed "CH. Clair" lower right corner.
