1 black china silk & black silk lace dress w/ silk tulle trimmed surplice bodice edged w/ magenta silk ribbon trim, 3/4 length sleeve w/ embroidered net cuff, asymmetrical pooling train, c.1912, selvedge stamped “Manufactured by C.J. Bonnet & Co” (France), B 34”, W 24”, L 57”-70”, (shattering to lining, hem & purple trim, small holes & tears in chiffon at bodice, few pulls in embroidery); 2-pc black Chantilly lace evening dress w/ scoop neckline, short puff sleeves & full slightly trained skirt, B 34”, L 17”, (petticoat N/I, no closures, W band & ties shattering, bodice hem unfinished, skirt lining missing, small holes in lace) both good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.
