Provenance: Mr. Yip Man-wah's collection
Mr. Yip Man-wah (1924-2021) was a renowned collector in Hong Kong and Guangzhou before immigrating to the United States. He established two antique stores, "Guan Sheng Ge" and "Bi Hua Zhai" in Hong Kong and Guangzhou respectively. Many collections of prominent Hong Kong wealthy families were curated by Mr. Yip Man-wah, solidifying his esteemed position in both the antique and art circles of Hong Kong. In the 1960s, he immigrated to the United States, bringing with him years of treasured antiquities.
