Darmstadt, Germany, circa 1900. Seven (7) stemmed wine glasses with gilt trim and painted grapes and vines. Hans Christiansen (1866-1945) was a prolific German artist of Art Nouveau and the classical modern style. He was a painter, designer of arts and crafts, and author; as well as a founding member of the Darmstadt Artists? Colony.
