American (Toledo, Ohio), 1940, by Libbey Glass Company. Seven (7) stems, the ?Monticello, 5700? design was part of the "Modern American" line. The name and design were inspired by the neoclassical architecture of Monticello, Thomas Jefferson?s home in Charlottesville, Virginia. Acid-etched stamp to underside.
