19th century, watercolor and gouache on , (3) miniatures depicting ladies seated in throne, at least two of these being depictions of Mumtaz Mahal (1593-1631); the fourth miniature of a couple within a palace interior, possibly the young Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan, all presented behind glass in gilt oval locket cases.
