Description
An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, lidded enamel over copper tea pot with a curved handle. The exterior of the ware is enameled with a polychrome design depicting cranes surrounded by plants and butterflies made in the Cloisonne technique. The lid is decorated with a design of blossoming flowers and a foliage motif made in the same technique. The neck is adorned with foliage, and geometrical patterns made in the same technique. Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. There is a piece of enamel missing on the bottom from the inside. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
