Description
An original woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige, 1797 to 1858, a Japanese ukiyo-e artist, considered the last great master of this genre painting tradition. The artwork depicts a riverside festival. Titled Cooling off in the Evening at Shijogawara. From the Famous Sights of Kyoto series, ca. 1834, Edo Period. Titled in Kanji in the upper left. White mat, black frame. Collectible Art Prints, Oriental Landscape.
