Hauptmann Andreas Kuffner – certificatesA telegram sent by Hitler on the award of the 684th Oak Leaves on 20 December 1944. Letter of congratulation from Göring on the award of Oak Leaves as Staffelkapitän of the 10th (Pz) SG 3. Preliminary possession document for the Knight's Cross dated 16 April 1943. Large decorative certificate for the German Cross in Gold, dated 20 September 1942, with blind embossed seal and facsimile signature of Göring. Plus a letter of congratulation with the original signature of Gen Fiebig. Certificate for the Goblet of Honour for his achievements as a combat pilot, dated 19 May 1942, with blind embossed seal and facsimile signature of Göring. Certificate for the Front Flying Clasp for bombers in Gold with pendant, dated 24 January 1943, with the original signature of Hozzel. Certificate for the Wound Badge in Black, dated 13 April 1944, with the original signature of Gen Deichmann. Notification of his death on 30 April 1945. All certificates have been folded, some punched with several holes. Moreover, two large-format portrait postcards and two small photographs. Andreas Kuffner (1918 - 1945): trained as a flak gunner in 1937, then as a Stuka pilot at the flight school from August 1940, joined the I/Stuka Squadron 2 at the Eastern Front in January 1942. German Cross in Gold on 28 September 1942 for his achievements at Stalingrad, Oberleutnant in December 1942, Knight's Cross on 16 April 1943, thereafter with the III/Ground Attack Wing 101, completing anti-partisan operations in Croatia etc. From February 1944, Kapitän of the 10th/Ground Attack Wing 3, Hauptmann from 1 September 1944, Oak Leaves on 20 December 1944 for 700 missions, destroying approx. 60 tanks. Shot down on 30 April 1945 while landing at Sülte Airfield. Condition: II
