Description
20th century Western PA Watercolor school, On the Braddock Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 1920s, watercolor, monogrammed CIT or CJT lower left, 9 x 13.25 inches, in a period wood frame 11 x 15.25 inches. Old ink note on the back of the frame Water Color Painting done by (name?) Friend of E. S. Sturges (or Sturgis). We were not able to identify the artist, although it's possible that it was done by the Western PA painter Charles Jay Taylor, who was teaching art in the regions in the 1920s.
Condition
