Francisco Zuniga (Costa Rican Mexican, 1912-1998). An original watercolor and pencil mixed media painting on paper. Titled, "Vendadores de Flores" ("Flower Sellers"), produced 1964. A figural group depicting two seated native female flower artists, with a profusion of colorful botanical elements. Artist signed and dated 1964 to lower right. Original KARLEBACH GALLERY (Fairlawn, NJ) label affixed to verso. Presented under glass with a fabric border in a gilt embellished native style carved wood frame. Accompanied with original GALERIA BRYNA (Mexico City) certificate of authenticity dated February 1967 and signed by the artist. The work is included in the artist's online Catalogue Raisonne, registered with # 4085A (1964) in the section titled, "Drawings Not Included in Printed Volumes." Sight size measures approximately 19.25" x 25". Provenance: a private collection.

Condition: Good overall condition having normal to mild age related surface wear and evidence of toning. Frame having mild to moderate storage wear to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
