This 2/1 rod is in excellent original condition which is rare for these casting rods. It features 2 red agate guides and tip top, red & black wraps, a Pyralin down-locking reel seat with the spiral groove, the gold Heddon bass decal, and both handles are made from 1/8" cork rings (showing no signs of wear). It dates from 1927-29 and has the original olive bag and tube with "James Heddon's Sons" stamping.
