Lucius Annaeus Florus (circa 74 ā 130 AD), a Roman historian, who lived in the time of Trajan and Hadrian and was born in Africa.
His history of Rome was collected by Livy, and mainly focuses on the foundation of Rome though the end of the B.C.
First edition, edited by the 17th-century French classist Claudius Salmasius in 1638, this book not only includes Florus but also an edition of Lucius Ampelius s Liber Memorialis .
This work is an ancient index of 1st-century Roman history focusing on cosmography, mythology, and geography during the Republican period of Rome.
