The lot consists of (3) gilt-framed shadow boxes, each presenting a sets of plaster medallions against a backdrop of handwritten French scrip. Additionally, there are (2) black and gilt-framed shadow boxes showcasing Grand Tour-style plaster cameos depicting opposing male and female figures, each round and measuring about 1.5" by 1.25". Lastly, there is (1) gilt-framed shadowbox featuring a handwritten script paper backdrop adorned with four red wax seals displaying the letter "P". At its center is a black plaster intaglio depicting a figural Roman-style scene. The frames vary in size, ranging from approximately 7" by 6.5" by 1.5" to 9" by 13" by 1.5".
