Description
Two Rockingham-Glazed Pitchers and a Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Nineteenth Century. The first a 'Herons in Bullrushes' pitcher, attributed to E. & W. Bennett, Baltimore, Maryland, 1869-74, modelled by Charles Coxon, surrounded by an acorn amd oak leaf border under the rim, molded goat mask spout, branch handle entwined with a snake; the second an ale pitcher, of lobed form, molded on either side with a cartouche enclosing "XXX/ ALE," perforated spout, lobed cover and hound handle; the flowerpot with affixed stand. First pitcher: H: 8.5 in., W: 7.125 in., D: 9 in. Second pitcher: H: 10.25 in., W: 8 in., D: 11 in. Flowerpot: H: 4.75 in., Diam: 5.875 in.
