Two Maine Folk Art Hooked Rugs, Barbara Evelyn Merry; and a Hooked Rug Depicting Mount Chocura, All Twentieth Century. Each worked in wool and cotton, the first depicting a pair of roosters flanked by topiary trees, fitted with a rod for hanging; the second depicting a rainbow over a mother and child entering a log cabin, each signed with the initials "BEM;" the third hooked rug depicting Mt. Chocura, mounted on a panel. Barbara E. Merry rugs: H: 14 in., W: 31.25 in., D: 0.375 in. Mount Chocura rug: H: 14 in., W: 27.75 in., D: 1 in.
