In two parts; the rectangular cornice carved with "flowered ogee" or "dogtooth" and dentil borders, above a pair of arched glazed doors opening to five shelves, above a pair of candle slides, the slant-lid carved with a fan roundel, opening to a deeply curved interior with central fan-carved document door flanked by four cubby holes, each with cockbeaded valance and molded edges, over one long and two short drawers, flanked by two banks of serpentine-front drawers, the case with Scots-Irish configuration of a central fan-carved drawer flanked by two pairs of narrow drawers, over two long drawers and a carved dogtooth border, raised on talon-and-ball feet headed by deeply scalloped returns centering a matching pendant, signed and dated in pencil on the back "Donald A.
