Bacon & Day Burl Walnut, Flame Maple and Mother-of-Pearl Inlaid 'Silver Bell' Four-String (Plectrum) Resonator Tenor Banjo, Groton, Connecticut, 1920's-30's. With soft pedal, three layer peghead, 22 frets, Oettinger tailpiece, Richelieu pick holder marked "RICHELIEU," the flange pierced with f-hole shaped cut outs, armrest, peghead inlaid in mother-of-pearl "Silver Bell" continuing to a leafy vine and beneath a "B & D" foliate cartouche; housed in a hardshell case. H: 37 in., Drum head: 11 in., D: 4 in.
