1846 Charleston, North Carolina Auctioneer Token. 1846 "W. W. WILBUR AUCTION & COMMISSION MERCHANT/CHARLESTON, SO CA," centering the figure of an auctioneer with raised gavel in hand; the reverse struck "MERCHANTS & MANUFACTURERS AGENT/COLLECTION BROKER & NOTARY PUBLIC" centering a palmetto tree. Together with 1838 Am I Not a Woman; HT-81.
