A LARGE GEORGE II SILVER SAUCEBOAT
by Robert Pilkington, London 1738, the substantial bowl with a shaped rim, the double scroll handle with a leaf-form thumbpiece, the sides engraved in the Rococo style with acanthus leaves and scrolls, crested, raised on three shell-capped scroll legs with leaf-form feet. 19.5cm long, 15.5 troy ounces
The marks are legible on the underside. It is in very good condition without damage.
