The case has minor scratches from use but no major scratches that stand out.
The dial is in good condition with no noticeable damage.
The lion medal on the back has a little pain on the outer circumference.
The machine has been overhauled.
Winding up the rotor is light and accuracy is no problem.

The "Seikomatic Chronometer Ref.6246-9000" is a low-beat high-precision watch that shows the obsession of Japanese craftsmanship.
The Seikomatic Chronometer is the first self-winding chronometer made in Japan newly developed based on the "6216" in order to clear the global standard "CHRONOMETER" for luxury goods.
It features a crown at 4 o'clock to emphasize that it is a self-winding movement (no hand-winding function).
At that time the notion that "luxury goods are hand-wound" prevailed but with the appearance of this "62 Chronometer" "automatic winding came to be recognized as a luxury product" both in name and reality.
However in 1966 Switzerland demanded that the "CHRONOMETER" label be discontinued in the in-house test so production ended after about a year.
The back cover is of course the symbol of "CHRONOMETER" a golden lion medal.
The dial case crown etc. are also made exclusively for this watch and have undergone adjustment and inspection equivalent to an excellent chronometer.
It is a top-class product that Japan boasts comparable to Swiss-made luxury goods at the time.
