Dame Jane Pigott (1751-1841) was married to Sir Arthur Leary Piggot, a lawyer and politician. He was Knighted by King George III and appointed Attorney General in 1806, and was MP for Arundel (1806-1812 and 1818-1819), and Horsham (1812-1818).
