This assemblage of Pablo Picasso paintings originated from the collection of Picasso’s granddaughter, Marina Picasso, before going through a change of hands resulting in its arrival in this collection. These pieces showcase Pablo Picasso’s signature style and techniques. Historically, Picasso was surrounded by a variety of artists and musicians. The renowned artist painted on many different mediums, including newspapers and sheet music. He often did a myriad of trial sketches and paintings before working on a final product.

Untitled #6 is another unorthodox form, but it follows Picasso’s famous use of color. Blues and yellows delineate the figure’s major shapes. This face follows the theme of a singular eye with two pupils. However, the eyebrow determines that this eye structure is meant to symbolize two eyes since the brow has two arches. While this figure is harshly geometric, Picasso includes organic forms in the hat, making it seem as if it is twisting in on itself.
