A Mini-Mole Solarspot, by the Mole-Richardson Company, Hollywood, California, Type 2801, marked with serial number 06128; 120 volts, 800 Watts, A.C. or D.C.; one side of the red-painted metal body of the light with applied black letters spelling 'RAQUEL', the other side with applied letters "WILD P" followed by remnants of the letters "ARTY"; accompanied by black metal Barn Doors, also by Mole-Richardson. Compact and rugged, the Mini-Mole is a classic focusing Fresnel spotlight. Known in the industry as an "inkie", it can be used in motion picture, television, and photography production. Welch starred as "Queenie," in the Merchant-Ivory film The Wild Party (American International Pictures, 1975).
