Mug of the Prince-Bishop and Cardinal Wolfgang Hannibal Graf von Schrattenbach, Bohemia, ca. 1720 Colourless glass. Bottom with polished bottom rosette. The conically widened, multi-faceted wall with rich cut decorations in very finely executed, partially bleached cut decoration: at the front coat of arms under a cardinal's hat, on the back depictions of birds and fruit hangings surrounded by flower branches and curled acanthus tendrils. Stand with lentil finish, matt lip edge. Wolfgang Hannibal Graf von Schrattenbach (1660 - 1738) from a Frankish family that moved to Styria, was Prince-Bishop of Olomouc (Olomouc in Moravia/Czech Republic), Viceroy of the Kingdom of Naples and Cardinal.
