[CZECH]. A group of approximately 31 works, primarily prints, related to Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic, featuring prominent historical figures, artists, architecture and views, including:
1) [CZECH TYPOGRAPHY]. Typografia. Prague: Odborný List Knihtiskařů, 1911. Volume XXII. 4to. 190 pages. Approximately 85 plates, many printed in color. Later half leather.
2) [NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR]. Diorama the First Inauguration of George WashingtonDesigned and Executed by Czech Arists. [Prague: Industrial Printing Co.,] ca 1939. 8vo. Folding plate printed in color, numerous illustrations.Original pictorial wrappers (spine perishing).
3) UPRKA, Joža. Kožuchy. [Fur Coats]. Josef Pithart, n.d. Approximately 28 reproductions of paintings printed in color of men wearing coats, mounted on printed sheets and unbound.
Also including: a suite of 8 lithographs each signed by Jan Konůpek; 4 engraved or etched prints of Czech cities; a signed engraving by Zdenka Braunerova of a city scene; a woodblock print of a monument ca 1909; a printed document and 3 leaves printed in Czech; 2 books; a photo album with approximately 25 mounted photographs of portraits and architecture; and 8 engraved portraits of historical Czech figures.
