Outstanding lithograph on paper entitled Barbershop Quartet, made in black & white with a single shade of red on the barber's scarf. Painter and illustrator Norman Rockwell's original illustration based on his painting was published in the September 26, 1936 cover of the Saturday Evening Post. The four figures are rehearsing their tunes in a barbershop where the barber holds a straight edge razor and the seated client holds a copy of the Police Gazette, a newspaper published for male readers. Signature in pencil on lower right: Norman Rockwell. Numbered on lower left: 45/200. Housed in a solid wood frame with a black linen mat. Sight size: 23.75"W x 30"H. Frame size: 28"L x 34"H x 1"W.
