Takuro Kamata (Japanese-Canadian, B. 1939) Woodblock Print on Paper, Ca. 1970, Untitled Abstract, H 21.25" W 15" | Pencil signed in the lower center. Artist proof 3/7. Dated February 1970. Inscribed "To Larry" in the lower right. Abstract composition. Matted and framed under acrylic, H 26.75", W 20.75". Letter attached to the back of the frame reads "June 7, 1970. to whom it may concern: This is to certify that Takuro Kamata has been for the past two years a regular pupil of Toshi Yoshida in the art of woodblock print making." Signed Toshi Yoshida. Provenance: Property of Prominent Collector, Birmingham, Michigan
