Cranbrook Academy of Art is represented by two tempera paintings by Zoltan Sepeshy, "Oklahoma Dust" and "Lady Under Sun Umbrella," from the estate of Leon Zielinski. Highlights include a luminous 1988 oil on canvas by Richard Mayhew titled "Jazz Solo," once exhibited at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and a study for the Saturday Evening Post cover by renowned illustrator Joseph Christian Leyendecker.
