Ca. 300 - 100 BC.
A rare iron recurve sword called a machaira (also makhaira or sica). The blade is comprised of a sharpened blade edge with a pointed tip. The blade is incised with parallel lines that terminate just before a trio of annular rings. Included with the machaira is a conical point of the scrabbad bearing hammer-molded bars on one side above a hemispherical bottom tip.
