New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC or later.
A possibly Egyptian 22 ct gold ring cartouche with the name of the King Amenhotep II protected in the line of the cartouche; round hooped with "D" section. The Cartouche Gold Ring held profound significance in Ancient Egypt. Crafted meticulously, it bore the name of a Pharaoh, symbolizing divine authority and protection. Worn by the elite, it was a mark of prestige and power. Its circular shape represented eternity and the eternal cycle of life.
