Graphite on paper, signed lower right, "Rud. Cronau," and dated 1883, depicting a narrative of a hold up, the victim caught unaware, 9.75 in. x 13.5 in., matted and framed, 20 x 24 in. Cronau . Cronau was from Germany, immigrated to the United States in 1881 and painted and sketched in graphite, scenes from far west life. There is very slight damage on the frame, but print is in excellent condition.
