Taking the simplistic art approach to John Carpenter's very complex snowy sci-fi film classic The Thing, Drew Struzan once again created a poster image that has become instantly recognizable. Furthering the narrative that "the thing" can be anyone or anybody, Struzan mirrored Carpenter's particular genius, namely keep them guessing.

With only very minor wear from handling, this poster is considered near mint.

Master of horror John Carpenter's finest hour, splicing a frosty atmosphere of paranoiac dread with spectacularly gory creature effects (courtesy of Rob Bottin) as a group of researchers in Antarctica must contend with a parasitic alien life-form that's infiltrated their base.
